It's not real and it's an evil dictator. It's not even like they're obviously communist, they just say goofy catchphrases like power to the people and stuff like that, things you would expect in a modern revolution. But I guess it can't be helped. It's a shame that this point absolutely ruins the game for you. It's alright, we'll have fun playing it.

Not really, if you look into character Bio's the chick is OBSESSED with Communist china and Socialist ideals. And yes a bad story ruins the game, not the graphics or gameplay.

Hey, at least it's better than the generic "American Patriot/Hero killing terrorists/Russians/Communism/China" type of story seen (in BF2, BFBC2, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and MW2).
