Tom

False. I made it so a second and a half after you spawn, you re-spawn again onto your spawn bricks.I think there are some errors with the new hub gui that I discovered, I will look into this. For now, use Tom's updated download if you must.
Ok then I'll put the link back up.

I seriously have no idea what you are trying to say.

Okay, looks like bugs are fixed, here is the link again:

Do we have to save our hub while in the hub when we're done building? Also, suggestions:

  • An event to join a specific server via IP
  • An event to check if a certain server is up via IP
  • A way to access the hub via Main Menu

All three will be made

You build your own hub and just save it. It will load automagickally the next time. You can set which save to load in the advanded tab under options.

Another suggestion: a spawn point they start on inside the hub so we don't have to fly to our hubs. Mine's really nice btw c:

Spawn bricks?
Or if for some really weird reason those are messed up for you, onSpawn->setPlayerTransform?

Bug: I set my Hub to off auto-start in options, as usually I like to join a game instantly instead of waiting 5 minutes for my server to start, then I start a game single-player in, say, Slate, and load a build (25K bricks currently). I edit it, save it, and then leave. I started Blockland back up, host a single-player game, and then have to wait for those 25K bricks to load before I can build, even though I never clicked "Return to Hub" or anything like that. Somehow, since I turned auto-start off, every single-player game I start is considered to be a hub, and it always auto-loads.

If you are wondering as to why I even got this mod in the first place, I think that the idea is quite neat, and I especially like the "Return to Hub" button. I do not, however, wish to go to my hub every time the game starts.

Summary: Please fix it so that if you start a single-player game without going to the Hub first, it does not count as the Hub. A "Hub" button on the main menu would probably offer the graphical means to fix this.

Hmm, I cannot seem to replicate this bug and I don't see how it is possible. Re-download, see if you can replicate the bug, and post more information if it persists.

And I will be adding a means of going to your hub from the main menu.

Bug: Using the join game event crashes my game :C

edit: Also, placing a spawn point doesn't work. I still spawn outside the build. You should still make a brick (2x2f or 3x3f or something) that the player spawns at the minute the hub loads.

edit2: lilboarder wanted to see? See you shall see.

-snip-
??? i spawn when i load

I mean, spawn INSIDE the hub. I spawn, just not inside it.

That can't really be a bug with this mod since all the event does is bring up the join game GUI. Does it constantly happen?

I'll look further into that idea. I think the problem is that the spawn bricks don't load fast enough because you have a fairly large hub. I'll see how a new hub spawn brick might turn out.

And nice hub ;D
