Found this and I have quite a bit to argue.

If your villagers are not already devoted to protecting your village and their valuables, they shouldn't be there.

Not many people are trustworthy today, like you you were going to steal the tin. The villagers should be doing everything for the village, no questions asked.

This is completely impossible for most new players, any experienced players with steel and iron will probably already have armor and weapons and a damn fine ranger, therefore theres really no reason to spend your damn metal on brick walls.

I understand, however, that this topic was made before palisades were beefed up, but still. This brings me back to point one.

He was talking about villages, most large and maybe even small villages have access to metal in some way.(Its always a good idea to build brick walls they are loving um breakable)

Patrolling often is not that essential, instead of just patrolling pay attention to the walls more when there is nobody else on, because when there are at least 5 people on somebody'll see a theif or killer before they can get in.

It is if you have a mine or a very large village with tons of good stuff.

I REALLY don't like this idea, I don't know why.

Its a good idea no open gates and no one forgets to close them.

lolno, thats the stupidest loving idea I've ever heard. I understand that not everyone needs a damn key, but what the forget, gates aren't a magical opening to the outside world. If you AREN'T an idiot you won't have a problem with them. At all.

Gates however useful are very bad, If just one person has keys and he dies your village is forgeted.

Not everyones going to want to go out of their way and spend their AHRD ERNED LP1!!!!1!1! on melee weapons and unarmed just because you're loving paranoid.

most of the points are extremely exaggerated, I understand the 'key' stuff because new avalon got forgeted over because someone lost their keys.

stonefall didn't have a mine and they were a moderately large village, all around well rounded.

seriously, its not like the entire loving world is out to get you. I've never been attacked for no damn good reason, so if you just don't forget with people you won't be forgeted with and you won't have to have 23 loving layers of brick wall.
