Piracy would be really dangerous though, if your ship sinks you all drown, permanently killing all of you.

With Piracy/Sailing you should be able to make life jackets with wool and linen or something.

If you would've not gotten hunting you can raid anthills without the ants caring.

Have fun fighting with a high melee skill when you don't have access to a sword and shield. It's a waste of LP.
