Do you remember the beta channel video? It was FULL of hate comments, and it was rated 1 star out of something like 40 thousand ratings. The channels never changed back.

The whole point of this is not the change, but the critical reaction to the change. More people hated it than the people who liked it, but it seems that these malevolent dictators just want to make things a certain way, and not give a stuff about what the majority thinks.

Exactly, I was talking about the people not liking the change. Most people say they don't like something before they even have the chance to get used to it. Youtube knows this, which is why they aren't going to take current reactions as seriously.

I actually knew someone would say that. The developers in charge of Youtube are their own section of Google, they should be thought of as a separate entity, not part of the whole company which spans tons of services.
