I just got Fallout 3, got any tips/cheats/secrets/glitches/help for me?

Yesterday I bought Fallout 3 for PS3, ever since, I've been addicted to the game. I got some pretty good weaponry and armor for now I guess but is there any tips or anything that could help a newbie to the game?

i find vats usefull when you are low on ammo and want a good shot and not miss

it breaks you weapon 4x faster

then you best make that shot count, as opposed to using a stuffton of bullets and making it just as bad.
