Peice of cake, I recommend X-Padder...it lets you configure your ps3/xbox360 controller to do commands on your keyboard.

There is Joystick support in torque, but Baddy doesn't use it's full potential.

Like more realistic flying control :3.

I use Xpadder. PPJoy might work with it too.

I've done this with my PS3 controller, using Xpadder of course. I could even build and use most of  the basic controls.

use http://glovepie.org/ mapping a X-box control is as easy as key.w  = Xinput.Up.
In fact, I hooked my Wii Remote up to blockland so when you rotate your wrist, it rotates the brick.
