Dodger, you suck at Parachute travel.. You're suppose to pull back to go back up and use your hookshot thing while gliding to gain momentum.

I know, but thanks for the construcive critcism and the helpful instructions, I wasn't quite getting it.

I do it by pushing down to gain speed then pulling up and using the hookshot to go up. And if I'm running away from something I usually do that while moving side to side, makes it much harder for people to hit you (especially helicopters) and if you do it right can make you go even faster.
