What the hell happened to my theme?!

Well, i tried installing and playing Dawn of war...

And after i quit, i had a little thing on the bottom of my screen pop up saying that my theme had changed to windows vista basic.

The problem is, how do i change it back to my old theme?

MY theme wasnt Aero, but it looked like it, just without the glass window borders.

Pics attached, how do i change it back, it is worrying the forget outta me, i tried restarting, HELP PLEASE.

Bottom pic is what my buttons used to look like, top is the current.

Right click your desktop and select personalize. At the bottom go to window color, and check enable transparency.

In the personalize window, just select an aero theme.

Don't panic. Your computer just changed from Aero with transparency to Basic Aero (which is Aero with no transparency). Vista and 7 do this when programs are incompatible or require more visual memory, so the system disables the transparency to reduce workload for the OS and more for the program that requires it.

I honestly don't know how to change it other than restarting your computer. Every time it changed for me it changed back magically.

I've never had Aero, its always been without transparency.

Now it's changed to basic and it wont change back.

Personalize window appears as the screenshot posted when you can only use the Vista Basic theme.

Try this in command prompt (as administrator):
"net stop uxsms"
"net start uxsms"
