Wurm Online -
http://www.wurmonline.com/NEWS: I found a nice little spot to start up a village, there are some remains of an old cottage though. Feel free to loot it. Instructions on how to get there below on "Where can I find you guy(s)?"
A game coded in Java.
Introduction:
An endless world to explore. Farm, build up a fortress, hunt, role play, sell stuff, open a store, tame animals. Endless. This game is much like Haven and Hearth, but has tons of more features. (I've tried both games) I'm personally more of a fan for this. When you get to know the game a bit, you can run off to explore, and start up a little camp. This camp could be joined by other fellow travelers, or friends. Later, this camp could become a village, which could soon become a town. I've been apart of 2 villages so far. Both started by just a small group of people. So feel free to join me and start a village with me or something.
Here are some features that I could name off right now:
- terraforming (landscaping)
- fishing
- cooking
- Carpentry (Houses, chests, tables, chairs, barrels, fences etc.)
- vehicle construction (boats, wagons, large wagons, etc.)
- cave making, mining, tunneling
- 3D graphics
- other construction: stone walls, tall stone walls, paliside gates (You can make fortresses), fountains, wells, etc.
- farming: grow crops, harvest, pick tress, plant trees, pick bushes, plant bushes, etc.
- lumber jacking: cutting trees down, making planks, making logs
- hunting: kill animals, create weapons, dual wield weapons, make armour, etc.
- Taming animals (make them your pets, they can attack other animals with/for you)
There's a bunch of other stuff that I won't bother naming. For those of you that have played this game before, there have been a lot of changes. New player models, a new area, "Freedom Isles." I'm not sure what happened to Golden Valley (GV) There has also been a ton of graphic updates.

Getting into the game:
New? There are some NPCs that are guides and can put you through a tutorial. Try to talk to all the NPCs that you can talk to, they usually provide very useful information. At the start, there are some signs that have some information. One of them says that Mary will be glad to help you start out. Talk to Mary. She's in one of the trading booths. (Right click her) The game is pretty straight forward. Alot of things are like in real life. Chop down trees, chop down the fallen tree to logs, then make planks with the logs with a saw, etc. WASD to move, left click to move your view and right click for actions. When you approach an animal, you might want to stay away from it unless you know how to fight, or know you can handle the monster. There are some harmless monsters, which are: pigs, chickens, dogs, cows, deer. Possibly more, I don't know. (These will fight back if you attack them.) If you need more help, you could ask for it in the global chat, which is on your chat box. It's the tab named, "Freedom," or "Freedom Isles." If you need further help or information, the WurmPedia is your friend:

Well, you just respawn at the starting location. Although, you lose all your items except for the ones that you get upon starting. Some of your stats also get lowered.
Where can I find you guy(s)?
Well, I'm in my own place right now with 2 friends. I don't plan on visitors, but the other Blocklanders are in another village.
Directions to the Blockland village:
Walk along Amnesty road toward First Light (FL) until you hit the 600m mark. When you hit the 600m mark, keep going, but just keep an eye out to your left. You should hit a pond soon. If you're at the 100m mark, you're too far. Once you hit the pond. Go right through it, and over the hill. You should then hit a huge lake. Walk along the right side of the lake, until you hit Cedar Point Village. (It's the side with the massive mountain and tons of trees.) Then you're there!
Map:
Credit to Zias (An experienced player. He isn't from Blockland)
I'll try to keep this as up to date as I can. It's a map of New Dawn (Newbie Area. It's where you spawn and start out)

Yes, there is membership, the pricing and cost is ridiculous though. You can still play the game for free, but you're stuck on newbie island. (Freedom Isles.) Although, a lot of things are capped. Skills are capped to 20, but it'll take you a while to reach 20 anyways. You don't have some features, like stone houses, and you can't fight other players. There is also a restriction to the variations of animals. Although, on newbie island there are already enough animals for you to find out about and handle.
tl;dr
Wurm Online is a game which has a huge landscape for you to explore. It's a lot like Have and Hearth, but I think it's better. You can do many things like farm, fish, create a house, start a village, etc.
I hope to see you guys in-game.
