Author Topic: Grapple hook  (Read 3762 times)

I know there was a item in blockland that was a grapple rope, but it was more like a rope to swing over things.  If you have played Just Cause 2, that is the grapple hook I am talking about.

It should:
  • Enable people to hang of any vehicles that fly.
Example:

  • Attach a vehicle to a person or vehicle.
Example:

  • And also hang off of ceilings.

Sorry for the page stretch

There's the hookshot. It shoots a bullet that pulls you toward the target.
Maybe somebody should fuse the hookshot and the grapple hook

Even though when I played Just Cause 2 it was a bad game, the grapple hook is a good idea.

Grapple rope does not connect to a moving object. Just the last place the object was. Ive tried it, I was sad. I like the idea.

Also what I mean is attaching one end of the grapple rope to an object or wall.

Example: Humvee ---- Humvee,  Zombie Tank ---- Hyper Jet*

*lol

What he wants is a shooting cross-bow or some sort of funky-new-contraption to use so you take it, shoots some sort of projectile with a string attached to it, he then when it hits something the rope stops coming out and is at that only. I say he wants it to be climbable, so lets say you got a spitfire coming, got hidden with this "Thing" shoot it at the plane, hits it and your hanging about 16 studs from the plane, he notices you and tries to swing you off. You interfere with the terrain, and you can even climb up and take the plane down, hoping you can use a weapon with this, right click and you get off the rope.

Like you could hitch a ride on a Spitfire, or hook a Spitfire to the ground.  Or to a Zombie Tank

Kind of like G-mod's welder?

The Grapple Rope and Hookshot, Combined. Would that work?

I don't know if it's even possible.

Unless you use mounts.
