my FF's growing up were 5-9
they were all great games. then 10 came along and everything changed. the standard single player series got all super J-pop and girly. and ruined my interest.

11, and 14 are back to the roots of the franchise and are fun. but to bad they are spinoffs.

i refuse to play 10, 10x2, 12, 13

You really need to play 10. There's a reason it's regarded as the second best one in the franchise, next to 7.

And I recommend 12, I absolutely love it.

But 10-2 is garbage, and I'm not far enough into 13 to give an opinion.

ive played them all. and stopped about 8 hours into the 12th. havnt tried 13
