Author Topic: Theme Park Idea!  (Read 2323 times)

I am on holiday atm in America, and ive been to disney, and i thought that a set of add ons to make a blockland theme park would be a good idea!
The star wars TDM has kinda failed, as noone is supporting it, and if noone supports it, they dont really want it, and if they dont really want it, then why make it?

I will put together a list of ideas soon, and please say if you are willing to help(or if you have ideas)!

List of ideas so far.

Roller coaster bot(that you can get on like a vehicle) - so we can use on bot touch>bot>setMovement>gotobrick>name

Safari animal AI's

Anti(or low)-gravity playertype - for a moon sim

Water slide bricks - hmm let me think? /sarcasm

Thats all so far, hope you can help,

How can you see me post, wait, are you looking thru a window at my holiday home...AAAAA creep

You can use zone bricks for low gravity.

I think that the moral for this will die down after RFW2 heads home.

Anywho, Blockland's engine doesn't support a good roller coaster. First off, to build a rollercoaster, you must know how it work.

A: The coaster's wheels never move. It's all gravity. The chain belt just gets it to the top.

B: The coaster can't come off the track unless something is broken.

C: Roller coasters aren't bouncy. Nearly every BL vehicle is bouncy.

He said use bots for the roller coaster, and bots aren't bouncy, but bots can't flip upside down.

I was emailing RFW2 about this (I helped come up with the bot roller coster thing) and I tried testing the bots. When I made a cow bot move to a brick it worked (duh) but when I made it move when I was riding it, it stopped moving and gave me control. So we would need some scripting done to stop it giving us control to it and make it stop moving.

For the Safari animals I'm guessing they would be like the cow and bull but with different animals?

The water slide could be like Mr.Blocks Slides but with water bricks over them as well. This could be useful.

One last note, what the hell is a moon sim?

Moon simulator.

Stop deliberately being negative.

Let me search zone bricks, wait a sec...

EDIT: they are from the last version, not the current one...

Zone Events
Zone Bricks

Zone bricks have an anti-gravity brick I think.

EDIT: I just tested out the Zone bricks and they are rockin! The zero gravity bricks are OK.

I'm being punctual, not negative. Stop being a negative nancy when reading my posts.
