I've stated numerous times why I think Microsoft is a stuffty company. You can technically criticize every single FPS game for being "repetitive", and the entire MMO/RPG genre is build on repetition.

Prestige is useless, you just do the same thing over and over again for a gay looking medal.

You can only unlock some titles and emblems after prestige. That's all there is to it, it's just a way to add some replay value.
