Does anyone know a good starter armor/weapon? On one of my characters I only completed the wasteland survival guide, and got stuff for my house. But I plan to work on some main quest stuff, so whats the best armor/weapon for low levels?

mostly because I miss the opportunity to obtain most of them, so I mask my anger and depression by saying that I have hated them all long.

well, actually, I saved him to steal his knife and to use him on a few main quests, so I didn't put valuable followers at harm

I killed some raiders with books... then shot tin cans at peoples houses.

I liked the Dogmeat "Puppies" perk. That dang thing dies too often to not need that kind of respawn ability.
