I suggest a gui where you type in the dimensions of the brick you want and it creates it as a ghost brick.  Then you can use it, and/or save it in-game to your brick list.

Could of sworn this was done.

Yes...I think..

For what i know of, It is not possible.

It is possible... It wouldn't go as smoothly as you think, though. If the dimensions required a new datablock, then you would have to force all clients to re-download every datablock, which would cause the game to slow down slightly for certain players.

Actually Truce did it once whilst I was on his server.. like a command that made a new brick with those dimensions and retransmitted datablocks, then set your ghost brick to it. It seemed to be a smooth, although it may of been a little choppy.

Connection-wise it's not smooth.
