I hate when TV shows and books decide to make time travel seem really complicated, like when you travel through time are you stuck with an illusion of futurism, and will you ever be able to get back to the exact millisecond that you started from? Won't it bother you that you are actually living your life 2 minutes in the past?

Another one I always consider is the "respawn" power.  Basically, every time you're killed you "respawn" in a random place, perfectly fine.
