I guess... compass would be good. And maybe special icons that a "radio" item could set, so scouts could be useful for once. When you click, you get to choose what goes where you are aiming. It would show up on everyone's compass, as its own icon. Of course, the compass would become a required addon for this. The "radio" system would use a GUI. Binoculars could also come with the radio, so a radio would be on your back (like with the larger guns, when you're not holding them) when you have binoculars in inventory, and when you're holding them, you also have the receiver in your right hand. That would also work for the left click on binoculars. Right click would look through them, left would set a waypoint. That might not work well for modern warfare, though, because radios are way smaller...
Icons for:
-Enemy and friendly MG position (MG icon, red for enemy, green for friendly)
-Sniper (Scope icon)
-Artillery/turrets (Cannon icon)
-Enemy and friendly and neutral base (A box that's red for enemy, green for friendly, and gray for neutral)
-Key position (town, bridge, something that would be good to hold, ! icon)
-Aircraft base (Plane or propeller icon)
-Vehicle base (Jeep or tank icon)
-Target (something to destroy/attack, not capture, Ring target icon, y'know what I mean)
-... any more ideas?
Whaddaya think? Only "radios" could do this. Also, maybe a specific command tool for the commands, not just anyone, because no one wants a noob to order you around. "Get me a latte! FAST!" "Yes, sir...."
There would have to be a way to delete/refresh icons, as well.
