Author Topic: Gravity Cat's Add-On Dump - Particle_ItemSparkles released!  (Read 2258832 times)

Is there going to be an option for the ammo script? Sometimes it might be awesome but others it may not. Just saying. Although I'd probably still use it 99% of the time anyway.

There is already one.

Hurr durr, don't jump on the bandwagon.

What I'm saying is that Gravity Cat could maybe work out a way to make it so that the scopes "shake" like they do in MW2. That way hitscan wouldn't be cheap.

have you ever looked through a real scope

thats what every scope is like, you have to be holding perfectly still to see easily through it.

It just makes it too easy.

Fun fact: Just converted 298 lines of script into 1 line and removed all tabs and spaces, for fun. It works, and makes scripts completely unreadable. And it reduced the filesize from 9.33 kb to 8.10 kb.

Whyyy? :C

I wanted to learn from the scripts. :(

oh well.

I don't really think that I will do that. Too much work.

Ammo system today I think.
The rest... well, reload animations are very hard to make - if it's supposed to look good. When more weapons are done, maybe a test-release ;)

i think you should honestly just use a placeholder reload animation for now and beautify it in an update later, and move on to more important things.

This would be perfect for the DM i am building! I was using your first weapons because they are the only good weapons that work with rots ammo system.

Love the Pack, Hope you make it public.

I know. I'm not living under a rock.

What I was saying is that snipers in Blockland that fire actual projectiles are, for the most part, easy to dodge. Snipers with hitscan are extremely overpowered because it's basically point/kill. I was suggesting that if the scopes were to move around like they do in MW2, it would be harder to aim, therefore making hitscan not as overpowered.

Same with me. I had a pretty sweet class-based TDM going on, but I stopped hosting it because the classes were a bit unbalanced. Now I'll be able to start it up again. And everything will look a whole ton nicer as well.

No hitscan... Bullet drop is the thing that makes these snipers better than the others. Even if you make the scopes move around, hitscan ruins everything. Without hitscan. Without moving scopes. Leaving everything as it is makes the snipers harder to use. Trying to predict movement, compensating for bullet drop. I can do this just fine and kill people. And I know I'm not the best player out there. So other people can do it just fine.
