Problem: The CX-32 lags my game, does anybody know why possibly?
A model consists of polygons. The more polygons there are, the more the game has to calculate. The CX-32 has over 4200 polygons, which is
a lot. Usually items and weapons have about 100 to maybe 500 or something.
Hundreds of shells were fired today (And are probably still fired), but only a handful actually did damage from what I've observed. I'm no expert but the firepower really needs to be improved.
I thought about adding a function to calculate the trajectory, which would greatly improve accuracy. It would work like this: When pressing some key the howitzer simulates the trajectory of a shell by "firing" an invisible projectile. When this projectile hits something the operators camera switches and shows the impact location for a couple of seconds.
