*Several minutes prior to the current scene*

Base Radar; "Sir we're picking up a huge energy signature, advise extreme caution"
Gunboat Leader (Me :D) "Advice noted, all units prepare to fall back to a saf...."
Gunboat B-2; "Sir..... What is that?"
*Explosion goes off, wave of blue light approaches the small fleet*
Gunboat V-5; "Dear god...."
Base Radar; "They set off a nuclear EMP device, retreat as fast as y...."
*EMP Cuts off radio and begins to cut off the engines on all Gunboats*
Gunboat N-4; "Sir, we're losing our engines going do....."
*All radios are silent as the gunboats plummet to the ground, they hit the ground almost silently and without an explosion*
*I climb out of the wreckage of the lead Gunboat, tech-level 8 assault rifle in hand*

*I walk over to the destroyed bunker entrance*
"Damn, that thing hit this place like a tonne of bricks, I'm probably lucky to be alive....."
*I begin pounding on the door, I can hear voices from behind it*
