Author Topic: Is getting The Orange Box for ps3 worth it?  (Read 1150 times)

I really wanted TOB for PC a while ago, about last year. But I can hardly run Oblivion on my computer without putting it on low settings. So I predict I can't run HL2 Portal And TF2, and whatever else is in TOB, good on my computer. So I want to get it for PS3. I looked at the features included in the PS3 version, and the features not included, and I'm okay with them. So do you think its worth getting The Orange Box for my PS3?

I have it, it's very fun, but do you use wired connection or wireless?

Wireless, why does it matter? But yeah, I have wireless cause my PS3 is upstairs and my parents didn't want to have the trouble of stringing a cable up the stairs and everything so. But the connection works fine, my computers internet is wireless too and it doesn't give out on me.

Getting it for the PS3 is a bad idea IMO, it has little to no fixes/updates whatsoever, the 360 is updated a bit more than the PS3, but neither ones have the same updates that the PC does

So go with the 360 or PC version, i say

the 360 actually lags on ep1 and ep2 physics (when major physics going on)
i can imagine the ps3 has the power to do it properly.

but as for tf2, it is a joke on consoles and should not be played.

FPS games aren't that bad on a console if you have the IQ of a monkey and a little more hand-eye co-ordination than the average PC gamer.

yes fps's are loving stupid on consoles, but that's not why tf2 is a terrible idea to play on them.

You better hope you have a good wireless, or else your screwed.

Because Gabe Newell hates the PS3

Because Gabe Newell hates the PS3
Or maybe he just doesn't want to release a broken game.

Valve doesn't hate the PS3, they just need PS3 developers.

In fact I recall reading an article where some Valve guys said they're starting to warm up to the PS3 and that PS3 owners should look out for upcoming ports of their games soon.

I like the PS3 version of TF2. ;-;

Tf2 sucks

If anything get it on pc

You can't get The Orange Box for Ps3 because the PS3 has no games.
