Author Topic: Programming how to book? Should I try?  (Read 2313 times)

I found an old book my grandparents gave me called xna game studio 2.0
it talks about creating games for pc and xbox 360. I says it uses C# programming language, which I never heard of. Should I try it?

Maik a gaim on xbawx 360.
No seriously.
Make it kinda like I mad3 a g4me whit zombies
Only whitout that weird music.
(Or something like Doukutsu)

I'm not sure if I should use it, I heard C# was a crappy language

Don't use a book. Learn from other scripts, other C programs. That's how I did it.

Doesn't mean it's the only way to try, or the best way to.

I say you should try it. What's the worst that could happen?
And, if it leads you to being able to program games, then that's a new talent under your belt.
Nothing bad will come from trying and learning.

Learn something hip and relevant like Java or Python.

What language is that scripted in?
