"Hey! I have no reason to suspect he's Mexican, other than his skin!"

This.

This law will most likely go to the supreme court and it will violate civil rights and will not pass.

So, if I think someone latino is mexican, it automatically means I'm a very bad person?

I see blacks and mexicans wearing baggy clothes, I'm automatically reminded of a typical gang member. Does that make me bad, too?

No. Go be a butthurt somewhere else amigo

So wait
If you are a mexican, and you legally become a citizen of the U.S, do you really want cops stopping you down because your skin?

Good job conservatives bringing america back in to the 1950's.
They're not going to beat them and throw them in jail for being mexican

At most, they'll pull them over and check their license or something. It'll take 5 - 10 minutes at most. Plus, if this law came to California, I'd feel a lot better knowing there weren't as many dirty illegals mucking around my city.

I suport this law, I live in Southern CA (San Diego) and we have a problem with illegal aliens here.

Well aliens are a whole different story. Them guys came all the way from there planet to go there, you should be nice. Learn from them, and their ways of space travel. :)

Either loving way, it's still racial profiling.

It's racism, even if it isn't dying.

Calling someone a monday takes 2 seconds. Does that make it okay?

Miscalculation, It take at least 1 second.

You should know as you probably say it once per day. Am I correct?

Because calling someone a monday and pulling someone over because they may be an illegal immigrant are totally the same thing.

Quite.

Nope.
I rarely say it.

Anyone who supports this law is unaware of two things: whether you enforce border laws or not, illegal immigrants will keep coming as long as people will hire them. There needs to be a crackdown on employers. They come here for a better life, not hostile takeovers of jobs.

The other thing people are unaware of is that this law encourages racial profiling. This is a simple fact. If you give officers the right to stop people on the street under suspicion for being illegal, they're only going to stop Latinos. Hell it's already happened, just days before the governor signed it into law: http://www.azfamily.com/video/featured-videos/Man-says-he-was-racially-targeted-forced-to-provide-birth-certificate-91769419.html

This wasn't legal then, but now it is.

And for people who hate illegal immigrants in general: they have no major negative impacts. They are not the law breakers (except immigration); the drug lords smuggling drugs into the country are. And of course the drug lords only exist because drugs are illegal in the first place.

Illegal immigration hate is just another neocon frenzy of xenophobia. Hate 'dem Mexicans and Muslims 'cuz they gonna blow up Amurrica!

Quick! There's an American, let's take his job!
