Author Topic: Installing Blockland on a school laptop...  (Read 1411 times)

A little while ago the school supplied me with a local-only laptop because I have JA in my knuckles and I can't grip a pencil properly. The laptop runs on IBM's TLC School Connect.

Well, I'm bored out of my skull on it usually. I can't stand using a computer for something other than gaming.

Now normally I would go right ahead and go to Minecraft or something, but any website that contains the strings "Youtube, Games, Hacking, Violence, loveual Content, Horrid/Disturbing" will be blocked with a big ugly "WEB CONTENT RESTRICTED!" site. Recently I discovered that the blocker no longer exists when I plug it into the internet at home. :)

So I'm downloading and installing BL on it, but I'm going to hide it away somewhere where they can't find it without a good search (the people at my school are all idiots).

Do you guys think that they would be able to get me in trouble for downloading and installing a program that may lead to a future career in game design for me? (I can practice coding. :D)

Opinions, please.

I remember, a long while back, people were playing the Halo 1 PC Demo on computers and playing it. A BUNCH of people. They didn't install anything, installing is restricted, they found a way to run it right off the file on MAC COMPUTERS without and installation.

Anyway, not a good idea, use a real computer.

This is my school computer, because I live at my school!

Yea thats what we were doing, one guy had it on a flash drive and he just passed it around to everyone, then after the teacher found out he went through everyones drives and deleted it, he also found my ROM folder, and deleted that (but only after copying it to his desktop)

What is JA?

Are you no longer able to help with my hosting issue?

Torquescript is remotely similar to C++.

Also, for those of you who think "LOL TEACHER CAN DETECT IT"

This laptop is speshul. When I say local only, it means that it does not connect to the internet. No wireless. You can plug it in with a cord though, but it doesn't connect to the LAN or something. Because we can never transfer anything from school computers to my laptop with internet. So basically, they can't find it without searching my laptop by hand (But I always have it :D)

Do it dude,It's there fault for making you board
