Downloading add-ons from Firefox?

On internet explorer, you can choose to save or open a file, if you save it, you can choose where the file will go to.  However, when i recently tried saving while using Firefox it did not let me choose the location of the file.  Does anyone know how to save add-ons to your add ons folder with Firefox?

i think there is something that allows you to do that but you are not utilizing it.

You could just save it onto your desktop, then open up Blockland's Addon Folder and put the Addon in there.

Open options in tools tab, go to general and click ask me where to save my files.
