Need help installing Carmageddon on my computer.

Yeah yeah, I've asked this twice before with no avail so I'm making it again. Some help would be real nice.

Anyway, I have Carmageddon Max pack and Carmageddon 2, both belong to my brother, who expects me to get them working. I even asked him if I could try. My brother currently lives four hundred  and seventy five miles away in South Carolina. At least that's what I think, I haven't passed a math semester since the fifth grade. Anyway, how do I install this stuff? Geek Squad was about to install it on my brothers computer, but wanted to charge him 37 dollars.


PS: If you didn't know, Carmageddon was sort of like a Racing/Demolition Derby/ GTA game of our forefathers for the pc.

It installs fine, I even get to the startup screen. But when I try to start a new game it insists that the CD is not inserted.
