Explain, how the forget did God stop the sun?
He pulled the emergency brake

I don't know what the forget you're trying to prove here but I'm thinking it's irrelevant.
That was in reply to a post that said a lack of belief in gods is not the same as believing there are no gods. If I am wrong, do correct me.

4+5=/=5+4 because I rearranged the words. Looks like someone needs some Vitamin-J.
A lack of belief in the existence of gods is the same as believing there are none, because saying there are none is the same as saying that they do not exist, thus they lack the belief in them when they say there are none.

The exact definition of Atheism is "without belief in gods"

So, "a belief there are no gods" is a belief in something.

without belief =/= belief
I can't make it any more clear than than. It's not my fault if you are too think to understand it.

I place a fine line between belief and knowledge. Religious peoples say that they believe in God (or another religious figure), but they do not know that there is a God. The same goes for people that do not have religion.

Just to clear it up for the abnormally handicapped among you, there is a huge difference between 'I do not assert God exists (exactly the same as saying I don't believe in a god)' and 'I assert God does not exist (exactly the same as saying 'I believe there is no god'.)

One is an assertion, the other simply isn't. Atheism just means you do not assert there are any deities in existence. Regardless of your beliefs, this is not something you can get wrong and expect to be taken seriously.

The Inv3rted Wizard did it.

Stop blaming the wizard, he never did anything to you.

It's not that he is thick, I think he is going by popular belief which Atheism is still a belief in something, being there is no God.

Well said. :D

So basically Atheism is just a neutral or apathetic feeling towards deities? That is, not proclaiming against God, but not stating he is existent?

lol are people of faith being fearful of education again?
weak people find peace of mind in a god. less thinking.

Some atheists do assert that there are no gods but that is irrelevant considering all that's required to be an atheist is no belief in a god, not the belief that gods do not exist.

Well after explaining it 4 times, you would think he would get it.

I see, that makes more sense. I never knew that before. :)

Some people don't learn the same as others, I didn't understand how you were saying it either. :o
