I'm sick of all the praise for Valve, I've downloaded it, it looks like it would be convenient but its just not, not to mention if you mod your games the valve version doesn't always work with the mods/tools

Most of the mods are like actual games. They have their own .exe files. But if you're talking about gmod; ur doin' it rong.

It isn't brain breaking, I just mean he's doing it wrong.
Anytime I mod a game I downloaded from Valve Steam, it works fine. Well, as fine as a mod would work, anyway.

Love steam, its my MSN but in gaming format. I used it all the time and allows me to talk to people mid game as well as do a quick Google search in-game. There's no point trying to fight it, if it works it works.

The only thing I don't like using on steam is voice communication. Bad quality. I use mumble for that :)
