I just downloaded Halo: REACH yesterday and it is AWESOME. The graphics are AMAZING and ALOT of changes were made, and some new games were made too! First new game is HEADHUNT. You kill people for there flaming skulls, (you don't where flaming dang) and go to destonations for bonus points. The person with the most skulls and bonus points added up, wins the game. The other new game is...well I forgot but people say its CTF on steroids. You grab flags scattered across the map, brinng them back to your base. Sounds easy right? WRONG!!! Theres a catch, the Flags ONLY count when the base timer hits 0. All the flags reset after that. Only 2 maps were released so far on the beta. Sword Palace and Power Plant (at least i think thats what they were called...) Can't spoil the secrets to the map find out yourself! And the assult rifle was upgraded, and BRAND NEW weapons have been added to the game! The DMR, the Needle Rifle, Gernade Launcher, and the Sticky rifle (not what its called i totally forgot). The DMR is the battle rifle upgraded, the needle rifle is the needler SUPER SIZED! The gernade laucher follows its name, and the sticky rifle is anti-ANYTING! Hold in the fire buton for a burst of sticky gernades and let go when you got a stick! Well get ODST and download the beta now!

Not really a run-on,i saw some periods...

In the first (literally 3) seconds I played, I was teamkilled. I then jumped around figuring out the buttons, and was sniped and then teabagged.

Here's a brief rundown of the classes from the "Loadout" system:

Scout: You run fast. That's about it.

Stalker: You can turn invisible (more like translucent, what's the point of being invisible if people can still see you? this blows my mind)

Airborne: You have a jetpack. Clearly people are going to use this class the most because the others are useless.

I saved the worst class for last.

Guard: You get this ability where you pound your fist into the ground (doing no damage) and you cannot move, but you are surrounded by a strong blue shield. During this time, enemies can go ahead and stop shooting at you while you are trapped trying to plan out your next move. After the effect expires, a small shockwave is emitted from you, and you regain control. The entire effect lasts about 5 seconds, in which enemies can stop firing at you, back up, wait until you're vulnerable and then shoot you some more.



TL;DR I wasn't impressed at all, Guard's ability sucks.

Guard is my greatest weapon and can be a great one if you use it right. It also does damage if there right next to you wehen you use it.

Guard : use the ability if your shields run out.

You chose perks and that's about it.

Well MW2 it isn't totally restricted on class based because you can just mix and match different attributes though. Like I could be a sniper and still be speedy on my feet, but in something like Halo Reach or TF2 I can't be speedy without being a scout or have a sniper rifle without having fast movement.
