Ok so recently after rtb was updated....I've been having trouble hosting....and i know that i have upnp enabled but.

I was wondering if there was anything more to it...

Does anyone have any tips on hosting like, what ussualy keeps people from connecting, things that could make problems.

I was able to host fine before....now only a few can connect.

I have an above decent internet with an average 50.mbps speed and an excellent connection.

1st off - look at the RTB development thread - lots of people are having problems hosting.

Next - and the biggest one -- use port forwarding from your router.  Its much better to see a ping of "50" than a ping of "---"  It also may solve your problems with RTB.  I have 3.4 downloaded and have zero problems, but then I also have port forwarding setup.  If you cant for whatever reason -- then you get to live with the consequences.

The main thing i find that keeps people away is an empty server, so stay logged in.
The other thing i see people complain about is "long downloads" -- so keep your addons to a minimum.

IMO the port forwarding will solve the RTB hosting problems.
if you have a netgear router, i might be able to help with port forwarding - send me a PM and we can try.
