Author Topic: Was it worth the $20?  (Read 5863 times)

About 2 years ago was when I bought Blockland, and needless to say, I think it was a $20 well spent. I've used it a lot in the years I've been here, and I feel like I've done a lot with it, so I'm glad I bought Blockland, personally. My friends however, I got two people to buy Blockland because they heard about it from me. One of them can't use it anymore (Which translates into "I'm bored with it") and the other one was driven away by the community. Both of them have told me that they think it was a wasted $20.

So how about you? If you've bought Blockland, do you think it was worth it? If you haven't bought it, do you think it would be worth it?

forget yes and anyone who begs to differ can screw themselves

Defintely worth it.
I'm happy with the game as it's given me something to do for so long, offers lots of fun, has allowed me to make friends with people online, and has introduced me to my first online community, here, which really is a pretty handy thing when it comes to learning things about the Internet and a lot more.
If I hadn't joined a community like this, I'd probably have been a bit more brain-dead to what's actually on the internet, and other stuff.

Anyways, I'd say it's defintely worth the money, so long as you help make the most out of it.
It's one of those things where you have to put a little bit of your own effort into first of all, to get back from it. (I know, what a rip off!)

The only thing bad about the $20 is that I can't pay more to help Blockland's progress.

If you could, I bet you the community would be about 75%+ smaller.

But yea, this game was worth it.

Donate. Can't find the donate button :c

I bought this game in V8, and got more than my moneys worth. Definitely worth it.

Got the game midway through V8. I was lucky. People were actually newbie-friendly back then. I never got flamed for not knowing how to do stuff. People like Bushido, Regulith, Maxwell, and a few others basically taught me how to get along with the community. Best $20 I've ever spent.

Now-a-days people are banning for having a high ID.

It's pretty awesome, it just takes some getting used to... for me, anyway.

I've been here for a while and I still suck at everything. :P

I got admin in a national socialist defense server for having a 6k id. I feel happy.

The community is full of bigotry and hate, but there are some cool people here.

The game has been a huge time waster for me and fun at the same time.

I think my 20$ was very well spent.

Best 20$ I ever spent. Way better return than other games, because when you buy blockland, you buy EVERY server, EVERY addon. It just doesn't get old! There's almost always something to do...

It literally changed my personality.
