Author Topic: Was it worth the $20?  (Read 5862 times)

I got mine around the middle of v12 as school was in session when v13 came out.

It was hard fitting in until a few weeks later, I met Pilot Zombie (Renfield nao). I then started getting into Diggy's Metropolis and then found out how to get add-ons a month later. Life was great once v12 ended. But there was no Tier Tactical back then :(

I really think the game gets boring the only part that keeps me playing is multiplayer, the game isn't fun without friends

Got the game midway through V8. I was lucky. People were actually newbie-friendly back then. I never got flamed for not knowing how to do stuff. People like Bushido, Regulith, Maxwell, and a few others basically taught me how to get along with the community. Best $20 I've ever spent.

If only the community was like that today :I

I would donate to badspot all the time.

For faster updates of course. I wish there was a donate button :/

But, best 20 dollars Ive spent in probably my whole life.

I bought the game a little more than 2 years ago in mid-v8 and was impressed then and am still impressed now.

Definitely one of my finer decisions.

I'm so addicted to it... So, yes it was worth the $20

People who get bored with it obviously don't realize the genius of it, nor the endless entertainment. Anyone who is driven away by the community needs to get used to the internet. Oh, and yes, well worth $20.

Defintely worth it.
I'm happy with the game as it's given me something to do for so long, offers lots of fun, has allowed me to make friends with people online, and has introduced me to my first online community, here, which really is a pretty handy thing when it comes to learning things about the Internet and a lot more.
If I hadn't joined a community like this, I'd probably have been a bit more brain-dead to what's actually on the internet, and other stuff.

Anyways, I'd say it's defintely worth the money, so long as you help make the most out of it.
It's one of those things where you have to put a little bit of your own effort into first of all, to get back from it. (I know, what a rip off!)

And a bit of text of my own...

The community from mid-V8 to early V9 (rather long timespan) was amazing and really helped me become the evolved person that I consider myself today.  A few of my friends that helped me as I met and kept contact with are:

Nixill
Spation
Bushido
Radial543
Randomguy
Wedge
Liquid Snake
Fooly Cooly
Azerath
Ace

...

And quite a few 3K-range and below ID individuals, who now like me are veterans and are trying to survive in a rather deteriorating community.

Thanks guys.

Definately worth the $20.  So much so, I got a copy for my brother too.

I have more fun with this game than other games I spent $50 or more on.

It's been almost 2 years and it's still one of the greatest 20 dollars I've spent.

I have grown on the community somehow...

I think it was the best 20$ i ever spent!

I'm proud of my $20 investment. I've learned a lot both in the games and on the forums, and have wasted much of my precious time. It goes without saying that things were different back in v8, but nevertheless, this game still rockzorz my sockzorz.

$20? For Blockland?

Anyone that says that this is bad will have Chuck Norris kill them. Badspot will order it.

Aka this is too good.

I think it was, and wasnt. It led me too meeting many friends, but at the same time i can never find a really good server other then Iban's.

forget yes and anyone who begs to differ can screw themselves
