I'm guessing it's going to be something to do with creating your own sentries from parts or something.
Just the thought I get from the "It's your turn, Engineer update" at the end

The engineer can defend himself fine, not to mention everybody falls back to your dispenser to get ammo.

If they replace the butterfly knife I'm going to be pissed of.  But it's the spys major weapon, so hopefully they won't
