I hide mine in a folder in my Pictures folder. Because I'm not 12 and my mom doesn't get on my computer to look for research. Actually she has never done that. Actually my mom has never touched any of my computers. Tell your parents to forget off.

Yeah, the only thing my parents have ever used my computer for is to get on the internet at a time mine is the only one functional.

Pivot Stickfigure Animator. I've seriously been hiding research on my Pivot folder for years. Best hiding spot for research, like literally 200GB of it.

Some of mine comes from my CS:S folder, in the form of people's spray paints.

or you could take the maze tactic and make one folder that has a forgetton of empty subfolders like 1 2 4 8 16 32 64, #8 is the hiding spot on the last one. Best used like a code that's memorized like a lock combination.

Open folders tab on Windows Explorer -> Click on the arrows next to the folders that contain stuff

Or if there's a lot of folders, hover over the folders in the main folder and go into the one that doesn't say "0 bytes"

Plus it's obvious you're hiding something if you have a massive folder maze like that and will only take a matter of minutes to navigate
