Looking at that picture makes me think that colorsets should also be included, as to like a base for customs. What I mean is, a box that has the colors from the colorset you have activated, and you can scroll down and "select" a color or something, and the bars would adjust to its properties.

Example would be: Select the color red on the colorset, and the bars would change to 255 0 0 255(?).

Even though I doubt this would happen, it would be nice.

I though this was impossible, because of how it stores the color in the brick, meaning color id from the color palette.
The only way to fix this is to change how the color for each brick is stored. Go fetch Badspot to do it.

4,228,250,625 different colors is overkill.

I'd rather have sliders that work in increments of 32, and the opacity in increments of 64. This way, you'll be able to tell the difference between colors.

Also, the total colors will go from 4,228,250,625 to 2,048. Although, I'd like to see a basic 256 colorset with 4 different levels of opacity. (That's 1,024 colors).

Christ, 4 billion colors?

Go for the 1k color idea.

How about someone just do a colorset editor in-game? In that way you can choose whatever you want and have your own presets.

How about this?

It would need engine changes, but entirely possible.

It should be cool to have as like, after you got out the spray can, if you pressed like the "~" key, that thing would slide out. Would be pretty neat.

Or if you press the E key twice.

This I can agree with.

Ha. So, will this be made anytime soon? I think that it would enhance builds a lot.

How about 3 levels of opacity, this way it bring the count down further?

I think someone should suggest this for V15...?
