What is Skate 3?
EA Skate is the most realistic skating game out there. Unlike Tony Hawk Pro Skateboarder, you don't button mass to pull off tricks. That's right, this game actually requires skill. You use the brown townog sticks to control your player and your board. Right stick is to control your board; pull of tricks, control body tweaks in Hall Of Meat, all that fun stuff. The left stick is to control your player; move around, powerslide, reverts, stuff like that. And don't forget about Hall Of Meat. This is where you try to kill yourself for craps, giggles, and money.

What's the point? I mean, is there any story?
Well the 'story' is that you are a pro skateboarder, you gained your fame from Skate 1 and 2, that starts his/her own board company. As you progress through the game by completing challenges, you can unlock new clothes, boards, areas and new parts for your skate park.

You have a your own skate park?
That's right. Having your own board company has it's perks huh? You can fully customize this skate park with new skate park parts you unlock when you complete challenges throughout the game. You also unlock new areas for your skate park. The areas are basically backgrounds for your skate park. You can also upload/download other parks off of Xbox Live or PSN.

Is there anything thing else?
Yes, there is much much more. There is a huge map to explore with tons of areas to skate, you can record, edit, and upload replays, play online with friends, compete against friends online and much more.

It's great without a doubt. Extremely fun.

I noticed that in the demo, reda wasn't there, is it like that in the game? If so, :D.

Tried the demo. Bails are way to stiff and unrealistic, and also the game is getting more unrealistic too :(

Skate 2 was and probably always will be my favorite. I might get this when it goes down to $40 or so, though.

Yes, but Shingo is the camera man now, and his voice is really annoying.

Yep, when you fall off a skateboard, you're all floppy.

Skate 2 was better, Skate 3 looks like loving tony hawk bullstuff.

How?  It's more realistic than 2.  The only unrealistic thing is darkslides and the other new trick.  Also, skate 2 looked horrible.  It wasn't made too well. (what was with off board stuff)

Hey, at least it's better than being as stiff as a board like in Skate 1/3 :|

That's the only problem I have with Skate 3. You can bail off 3 stairs and get 50,000 HoM points.

I hate hall of meat, but love the bails. Does the broken bone effect show in non-HoM?

If you have HoM mode turned off they don't show and neither do the HoM points.
