Anyways, if somebody could get my a guide for hands on hips I'd seriously be thankful. I'm splitting hairs trying to figure this out.

taking a break, but here's the current version. I know the right arm is a tad skinny, but can any body tell that it goes backwards the forwards toward her hip? I need help with perspective :u

You should use a free program called MyPaint. The pencil in it is amazing, it allows for multiple layers, and it has awesome painting abilities.

I use a Mac, and while I DO have a windows emulator, I prefer not to use it.

I have Corel Painter Essentials that came with my tablet, but tbh I kinda hate it.



Anyways that's nice, I'll definitely look into getting a painter on here. However, I'm really not a realism artist. I like cartooning :u
if all else fails, I can use the emulator. I honestly haven't tried running it for anything except games, but I've heard it really shines for running windows apps well.

Edit: it looks like I'll have to try that, I couldn't find any with a brisk google search. the only thing that looked decent was ArtRage2, but it's paid and the interface is awful.

I really don't like the interface, and there's not much or anything it can do that Photoshop and maybe some 3rd party brushes can't

I'm going to make a staff. Hence right arm sticking out. Though I'm probably going to make her elbow bend inward, much more realistic.
