Any steam games for me to buy?

I just got steam, and i just bought a LOT of games, but I need moar.
I like about everykind of game, except Strategy games. Here's my list of games:
Portal.

As long as it doesn't contain too much violence/gore, I'll buy it. Also, please put why I should buy it, and what's best about it.
