The Lowdown

Westgate Center is a kick ass city center around the Cardinal's Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. It has always been one of my favorite places to visit when I lived in Arizona, and even now, it's still awe inspiring. I've wanted to tackle this bitch head on for a while now but I don't quite know a decent place to begin, plus it's giant, so I could use some help.

The Team

Wanna help? Show me something awesome you can do. If you're nifty with events, we might need a few people like you just in case we decide to get a little interactive.

Caution, ID 20996

The Plan

Excuse my terrible handwriting, but this general floorplan along with the references should help.

References

The Yard House from Westgate Blvd [Main Entrance]

- Outdoor seating with couches and other misc. furniture along the entire side.
- Small interior, but classy.

Type in "Westgate Center Glendale Arizona" into Search
NORTH TO SOUTH is from BRANDON LN to the SADDLE RANCH CHOP SHOP in the middle of the plaza
WEST TO EAST is from SUNSET BLVD to SUNRISE BLVD

===========================

- Gazebos are only present during events, so they aren't necessary
- You may notice that the buildings curve. Instead of curving, let's just make them go straight back to a corner and then out again. The hexagonal building on the end of the green building is a stairwell, so we can do that actually hexagonal.

===========================

- AMC Cinemas front entrance
- On the bottom right is the fountain

===========================

- View from nearby Hampton Inn (not doing unless brick count is fairly low)
- Top left is AMC
- Bottom is the courtyard, with the large fountains. A little under the picture is the pathway to the Coyote's Arena
- On the top are a series of shops. Johnny Rockets is a diner on the corner.
- In between the two buildings in the Yard House

Progress

This is a big dream of mine.

INNOVATIONS ARE WELCOME.

I think this should be pretty neat if it's completed appropriately. If you would like to help, sign up! :D

Leave.
Already did, never again.
Also, I'll help, maybe.

what.

If you're going to post, at least say something that actually helps the post in some way besides just "what."

Is this meant just for aesthetics, or will it be made into a creeper/zombie server?

Pretty much just for looks.

Why the hell would it be a zombie server?

Why the not make it a zombie server? Large build... Lot's of places to hide or to find guns... Plenty of places to snipe from/hold out at...

As for the creeper, if it's well made it'd be great, especially if you add sewers.

If you already have a build, why not make it into something others can enjoy?

Because I'm one of those people that prefers art over gameplay.

But you could make the one for art, and then it would be as simple as dropping a few bricks to allow gameplay.

I guess. I've just never been one for such servers.

Bump for AMC sign.

Realize that even if I can't get help on this I'm go for it on my own.

Bump.

forget the poll.
