durp how can you build a computer like this when the parts all up cost $5000. You best be trollin'
Maybe you don't get the EXTREME OVERCLOCKED CPU and save $300, don't get the extra 480 GPU, and get a PSU that's under 1000watts

but then its not like the original computer i listed.

There isn't even a game out yet that needs those specs to max it out, though. I'd say get the extra 480 when it's cheaper and didn't just come out so you save about $200.

buy cheaper cpu - get good cooling - overclock - win

yes that does seem more logical.. im going to edit the original post with prices aswell.

How the hell could you even afford a $5,000 computer, anyway?

i have my ways

just imagine the look on their face after hearing that

I didn't get a look on my face! This could be due to the fact that I don't know stuff about computers, but whatever.

I will truely never understand those of you who pay thousands for a computer. Its completely unnecessary unless your job revolves around computers. $5,000? Thats a car right there. Maybe a used one, but still a car. I will never understand that.

Well this is clearly not overkill because it is using ddr2

4GB of Ram was "overkill" in 2007... I have 7GB and am considering upgrading to ten.

How do you have 7?

4 GB DDR3 RAM costs way too much

Don't get a piece of stuff intel, the 6 core amd's are like $1000 cheaper.

I have 8gb of ddr3, it was only 200 dollars
