Nope.

Maybe you're trying to run the 64-bit version? You haven't told us anything about your installation, how you're trying to run the game or what version of dosbox you're running. The dosbox wiki says that Jazz Jackrabbit runs great in dosbox so you're doing something wrong.

Step 1: get the game (shareware version here: http://dosgames.com/dl.php?filename=http://www.dosgames.com/files/jazz.zip)
Step 2: extract it to a folder
Step 3: start dosbox
Step 4: Type mount c c:/<path you extracted to>
Step 5: Type c:
Step 6: Type JAZZ

It should work.

Any good 2 player(preferably coop) n64 games?
Tails and I are playing stuff over mupen c:

How would I go about making a .bat that opens an EXE?

1. Create a new text file
2. Open it with Notepad
3. type in "start (filepath)" ie "start C:\Program Files\Steam\steam.exe"
4. save the file as (filename).bat

Nevermind, I got it, and my question was for DOSBox usage (Pinning game .bats ftw!)

Does anyone know of any good abandonware sites?

32bit where is the 64bit one? cause I'm running XP pro 64bit

I just looked and there isn't one, I was just guessing. Dosbox definitely runs on 64bit windows xp so there's probably something wrong with your computer. Try reinstalling it.

There's the problem. :P  Actually, thinking about it, it may be the problem.  Because he's getting a blue screen, that probably means he has a bad draver, and Windows XP 64 bit is infamous for crap drivers.

well that's out of my hands then cause everything's already updated :c

Wedge, add to the OP that you want to get 1.41 of zsnes if you want to use netplay because any version higher than 1.41 doesn't support netplay.

Okay, I added that. I also added mupen64 to the list and changed the screenshot of zsnes running in dosbox to a thumbnail, as well as created a quick table of all of the emulators (see [060A]).

The list of emulators was written by getting together 2 of my friends in google docs and writing about what we used. I've only actually used dosbox and zsnes so if anybody wants any additions to the list or things added to the descriptions feel free to post here.

Huge update worthy of a double post and bump.

Topic now has a linking table of contents through anchors, including magical multiple post spanning anchors (click on the GAMES link to see how to do it, it's pretty easy).
