Author Topic: Dash Suit, a dashing playertype  (Read 620 times)

I think it'd be pretty cool if there was a Dash suit add on. The "suit" would essentially be the standard body armor with jets integrated into the back. Wearing the suit lowers the jump and speeds up movement slightly, but will take longer to "brake", like the slippery playertype but a little weaker of an affect. Pressing the Left mouse button would make the wielder dash (sort of like the Eyelander add-on). The longer you dash, the more the dash meter falls. One complete dash will drain the meter completely. The meter will replenish on it's own, but standing still will replenish the meter faster. Jumping mid dash will pull off an incredible leap (about 2x the height of a norma, Standard Playertype jump) that can clear long distances.

Anybody up to the task of making this? It doesn't even have to be a "suit", just a dashing playertype.

Aw, I thought this would get more recognition. Would it be too hard for an experienced coder to pull this off?

Just cause no one responds in the few hours it has been posted does not mean the topic is dead.

it's not that hard for an EXPERIENCED SCRIPTER to pull this off..

It's just that they don't want to. Every suggestion isn't accepted.

Yeah, but instead of a sprint he want to use the jets on the back

No, the jets would be purely visual. I'd want it to sprint straight foward.
