portal gun only functions in portal. gmod only comes close to duplicating the see through feature, but it still doesnt work properly. it would be near impossible in torque.

Can't you just turn down the opacity in the emmiter colors?

Although I'm highly against this due to lag issue's, couldn't there simply be a camera system at each portal, and when you look at one portal, it shows the camera view from the opposite portal? Just a crap thought.
