Since its the may 24 weekend, the game spotlight has made one game free until may 24. I got the game, portal, free a few days ago. Then, I go to buy gmod 10. It says I need a Source SDK Engine game to run it. I checked, portals on the list. My dad finally finishes putting in the money, then it says I dont own a Source SDK game. WTH. I sent them and email telling them this. They said if this happened again, go to the help desk. I couldent find the helpdesk. I got screwed.

Its already been said that if you got portal free GMod wont work.
Some place at Facepunch. Buy HL2 or some other source game or it wont work.

Portal free does not include source sdk DUH they removed it they aren't going to give you the source code of all their games for free

Just about any valve game will work. I used TF2. Portal should work fine.
