Every racing game plays better on consoles due to more than eight different directions of freedom and more acceleration options than "Accelerate" or "Do Not Accelerate".

But yes, this game is a stuff ton of fun on whatever platform you play it on.

The game was actually developed on/for ps3.  I doubt it takes too much of a hit, I haven't noticed any differences.
