Ridiculous, over-the-top, anime-ish, simple fighting controls, mostly buttonmash, and overall really boring and frustrating. I liked it when I was a kid but now it's just dull.

I can agree with this, but I thought that DoA4 had a huge "pain-in-the-ass" difficulty.
