Author Topic: Mac vs Pc  (Read 8926 times)

its not that macs are actually better in any way possible, but mac users dont know much about computers and believe they are better.
almost every retort i have ever seen a mac user give, is some sales pitch from tv.

mac users dont really seem to understand computer technology at all. well that would explain why they are mac people lol
Honestly I understand computer technology very well. Considering the pros and cons between mac and pc, they're even.

inb4magickmage?

My friend had a PC once that ran a Mac OS.
It worked better than my PC runs Vista.

???

Different system specifications durrhurr

They are both good in their own ways. I like gaming and need good word processing software, so I have a PC

If you are smarter than my grandma when it comes to computers, you can easily install proper drivers.
You seem to be doing a lot of insulting about how, "Macs are stuffty;" yet, you give no reasons why you prefer Windows over Macs other than, "Macs are for people with no computer experience while Windows are for people with massive amounts of computer skills". Or at least, thats how I'm perceiving your posts.

Although I must admit I do prefer a Windows mouse over a Mac one.

Macs : Crappy hardware, easy to use software

PC's : Good hardware, hard to use software

Since when are opinions allowed on the internet?

Yes, I know your opinion, but why do macs have "Crappy Hardware" and "Easy to use software" and vice versa for PCs

Most Mac users I know have used Windows extensively too, and can criticize from experience. Most Mac haters you see in the threads obviously know nothing about the platform, yet throw their ignorant rants around anyway.

Opinion? You mean other people think differently from me? :C

I have used osx myself and I have to say, it's pretty easy, but since I already have a competent operating system installed, i'm not rehashing my computer for that.

I always prefer PC or Linux, but just last night I used a MacBook Pro and didn't have anything to complain about.

I guess that counts as a benefit when it comes to Mac stuff? :cookieMonster:

I use Linux :D

Anyone who thinks Linux is just for young children with no life can shove their opinion up their... Blender. Certainly that was what I was going to say.

I heard linux doesn't eat up as many resources as XP/Vista/7

Is that true?

Really?

I'd like to see a PC run Mac OSX.
easily

and only fools think the 2 OS's are what makes all the differences anyways.
mac users seem to think an OS is important lol. its not even what makes a PC great.
PCs could still be on DOS and be a billion times more useful then a mac.

Linux IS pc

for all intents and purposes of PC compatibility, it can even use different party OS's without having to emulate them like a jackass.
