Author Topic: Computer Thinks Every Program Is "The Sims 3".  (Read 1146 times)

Ok, here's the whole story. At around March 2010, my computer began to think everything was a .exe, so I had to "Browse" through all my programs until I found the right one, then it would open the program. But lately, I installed The Sims 3 on my computer and it now thinks everything is The Sims 3. For Example, if I tried to open FireFox, A message would pop up saying, "Could not start game. Error code 208.". And before anyone says, "THEN HAO ARE U ON?!1", I've been getting on the site with my iPod Touch. I would like to post a screenshot of my comp. screen, but the god damn charger won't charge the battery anymore. Does anyone have a solution? (Besides burning it or deleting System32.)

Can't help you, but your problem is funny. :D
Reinstall Windows.

Well we might need some specs.
And if you don't know the specs, with no other options, just get a new computer and save yourself the trouble--that thing sounds like it's a piece of crap.
