To clarify, I have:
2-Hat tower (crafted)
Football helmet (drop)
Stovepipe Tophat (drop)
Conductors Hat (drop)
Hatless scout (drop)
Firechief hat (drop)

Nearly all of these have dropped within the past 2 months or so, regardless of how long I've been playing and how low my play time / week has dropped in recent days.

I have silver, and i have most of the milestones too.
I play lots of TF2, but seriously, why do people like me and Masterlegodude get almost nothing?

How have you been playing long enough to get silver and yet have so few items?

The Item Drop System hates me, anything i DID get from the Item Drop System, was a duplicate of a weapon i already had, so i eventually started crafting those, i've yet to get ANY hats from this crazy Item Drop System :(

It was something where some people cheated and all the people that didn't cheat got rewarded but then they made a bad clan and a whole lot of stuff went towards hating the lament

Valve got angry that people were using a 3rd party program to idle.

Gold, all milestones. Mainly just luck because I played for about 100 hours since the crafting update but have only gotten my hats in the last 10 or so.
